IR-scope nerfed?

I used to like this scope a lot, then after the latest update it started to feel out of place. Is it just my imagination or did DICE nerf the infra red scope?

Earlier when aiming quick through the IR-scope it looked sharp and I could do some "quickscope" kills with it. Now when I see an enemy and press to scope it takes 2-3 seconds, long seconds, before the visibility is clear enough to allow me to aim properly, making it impossible for me to make those quick scope kills in tight situations. Feels like there's some sorta fog all around the place when scoping and before it settles down you're most likely dead. Im really not sure if the scope always behaved like that, but somehow it feels different than before.

Another thing that pisses me off. Where's Carl Gustav?!? What happened to this beautiful piece of art? DICE gave us the good stuff in BFBC2 and just ignored the hammer of dawn, the ultimate weapon, the best weapon of all time when making BF3...I cant believe it!>.<'

yeah they nerfed the ir scope, im happy they did, it takes out a lot of stealth type situations where you could be sneaking around and they just aim and know where everyone is, i used it a bit and although it was good i felt like an asshole using it and went back to my red dot.

ir scope has always been to confusing to me coz the colours change and i have to orientate new shit so i always use and used holo

No carl gustav in bf3, it breaks my heart also... no actually it doesnt. I'm glad I dont need to hear Maiskes shouts: CARL GUSTAV!!! every frikin time he uses it, that was the case when we played bfbc2

1 noobish question, how do u attach rocket launcer in your gun? I cant find it, its a perk right? Come to think of it, I have never been killed by a rocket launcer (i think)... This was my fav way to shoot people through the wall in bfbc2

if you mean grenade launcher then use underslung rail instead of foregrip or bipod, but it doesnt work on some guns, i tried with the aek971 and it didnt work

yea i meant grenade launcher... I have been really lazy with trying new weapons, i mainly use the same weapon i got from the start, maybe thats why i havent got it working. Got to try the underslung rail on other weapons, thanks for the hint.

think that's my biggest mistake, trying to use them all to see which one I like best, but the only thing that is happening is that I don't know it and have no good weapon

which class do u play most jens? for engi tha m4a1 i best for medic the new one i forgot the name and dunno about the other classes Oo

here is the best guns for each class stats wise. m249 for support for accuracy m60e4 or m240b or stoping power and for mobility the 2 new lmgs are good the qbb-95 and the mg36 i hated the qbb at first but omg once i learned how to use it it become my favorite and within 7 matchs i got 2 service stars on it already... for the medic the m416 and the aek-971 are the exact same gun. same speed and same stopping power. but i prefer the aek-971 for iron sites .. i like iron sites better than any scope for 80% of the guns. for stopping power believe it or not the an-94 is the strongest but its also the hardest to us and i cant even use it with out messing up.. the fastest are the famas and the f2000 and the ak-74m has the best mobility.. when it comes to engineer the g36c is the strongest . the 2 fastest are the m4a1 and the a-91. the best mobility are the aks-74u and the a-91 and last the snipers. well each sniper has its own benefits and such like the other guns so that i can not help.. i will go over the few bolt actions sniper with the best mobility is the sv98. the sniper that can shoot the farthest is the m98b and the l96 and the m40a5 are almost similar.. when i say mobility i mean accuracy .. when it comes to shot guns well u know the fastest is the usas-12 the 870mcs is the strongest the now to semis .. the sagia 12k is the strongest while the m1014 is the fastest and the dao-12 has the most ammo. now on to pdw. the p90 has the highest capacity along with the pp-19 while the fastest is the mp7. the strongest is the ump but not by much. the second strongest is the pdw-r the best mobility is the as-val which is a modified vs from bfbc2 . hopes this helps. and im not going by what battlelog says im going off of personal experience from countless hours with all..

you have good guns foxie
just from your sig i see three good guns. the coop unlock guns are all really good
my faves are here, assault: m16a3 (foregrip/red dot = no recoil) but i also use heavy barrel for better accuracy down range so it adds a bit
engie: sg553 (laser/foregrip/red dot) right in the middle for good stopping power, accuracy, recoil and fire rate
support: pkp pecheneg (x3.4/bipod/extra mags) this one im just kinda weird with, its recoil is really high, and when i use it i either lay down or go to the nearest wall and quickly deploy the bipod for a quick burst to kill
recon: m39 (x4) for more attacking style or sv98 for farther sniping, although i havent unlocked any other ones

i havent learned all of the guns in bf3 but in bfbc2 you can just shoot a gun from behind me and i can tell you what gun you are using. i am actually going to reminisce and play a little bc2 right now

one thing that i havent figured out if how all the guns work with suppression that is just going to take time and a little bit of deaths before i find how what are best for suppressing

Im afraid to use the suppressor in any weapon cuz it decreases accuracy on long range, and I dont want that. What are the actual benefits?

well the benifits out weight the bad in every way .. the only thing bad with a suppressor is that it takes up a slot so you can use a tac light or lazer site. but if you use a suppressor they cannot see you on the map. you gun is quieter so its harder for them to hear you. the decrease accuracy is not a bad thing. most of the time for long distances you should bust fire or in other words tap the r1 button. if you do that the suppressor wont feel any different with or without it ,.. and when you hip fire it sometimes helps since it is less accurate the bullets go in a wider space so if you get scared because you meets someone in the corner and try to turn around fast you are more likely to kill him even tho the lazer site works best in situations like these the suppressor works just as good if not better in some situations i spell laser with a z because i like it better

i still cant get a grenade launcer attached, can someone point me to the right gun, and when i have it equipped, how do i change my gun to grenade launcer mode? dammit i probably need to google this up, its making me crazy.
