There’s an error on the Ps3 that prevents access to psn, access to trophies, games to start and saves to be loaded. It doesn’t affect the slim version. The system time jumps to 1999, many people has got this around the globe. blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/latest-info-on-playstation-network-status/ROFL FUNNY STUFF! are u getting this? I’m not gonna take the risk powering on my PS3. Now is a good opportunity to start jogging… or some other interesting outside activity. They will inform us when they know more about the issue. twitter.com/sonyplaystation

If a Windows computer is off sync with the time server, it can’t negotiate with the domain and becomes partly a lone wolf. Maybe there are some similarities at the ps3 issue, who knows. But luckily we don't need to get it. We just need to wait for the sony boys to do their stuff. My deadline for this will be 5.3 (BFBC2).

I turned mine on before learning that you shouldn't and the light turned orange then blinked red and my ps3 is now dead.

Its apparently fixed now. You can access PSN and if your time is still off, you can change it manually or using the internet.

The PS3 had an incorrect calender and thought it was a leap year so it changed to the 29th of february instead of march the 1st. the ps3 then realised it isnt a leap year and got screwed up something like that anyway

isnt "that " easy, here is my algorithm for dates and for look if feb got 29 days (its in C# code) using System; class Fecha { public static void Main(string[] args) { int dia, mes, año, max = 0, bi, comp = 0; Console.WriteLine("Dame el Año"); año = Int32.Parse(Console.ReadLine()); if ((año % 4 == 0)&&((año % 100 != 0)||(año % 400 == 0))) { Console.WriteLine("El año es bisiesto"); bi = 1; } else { Console.WriteLine("El año no es bisiesto"); bi = 0; } do { Console.WriteLine("Dame el mes(numero)"); mes = Int32.Parse(Console.ReadLine()); if (mes == 4 || mes == 6 || mes == 9 || mes == 11) { max = 30; comp = 0; } if (mes == 1 || mes == 3 || mes == 5 || mes == 7 || mes == 8 || mes == 10 || mes == 12) { max = 31; comp = 0; } if (mes == 2) { if (bi == 1) { max = 29; comp = 0; } else { max = 28; comp = 0; } } if (mes < 1 || mes > 12) { comp = 1; Console.WriteLine("No es un mes valido"); } } while (comp == 1); do { Console.WriteLine("Dame el dia(numero)"); dia = Int32.Parse(Console.ReadLine()); if (dia > max || dia < 1) { comp = 1; Console.WriteLine("No es un dia valido"); } else { comp = 0; } } while (comp == 1); Console.WriteLine("{0}/{1}/{2}",dia, mes, año); Console.Read(); } }
