So dake, being our clans number 1 pilot. How do you like the flying objects in bf3?
the helicopters r so much harder to fly than in bfbc2. I go up, then turn, and then Im down crashing ;D

i was watching a few tutorials and on the default controls for heli the right stick only turns your heli right or left and the rights stick you move forward back or side to side so when you use the right stick dont move it to much left or right or your heli will be going sideways and youre crashed for sure, the jest are very fun but the few times htat ive gotten in one the game ended like right away xD and it sucks that you only start with gun and no flares, probably will get shot down fast

well to be honest i suck totally at em in bf3 especially wit the jet the beginnin is hard coz u do oly hav that gay machine gun and others with the damn rockets shoot me instant when they see me.... i got the helicopter controls by trying em out but when u r not concnetrated for like 1 min and turn the right stick to the site u will crash for sure think i will really need much more training to be able to shoot objectives wit the heli too coz i always mess that fuckin right stick up and crash when i wanna ashoot somethin whateva my kd is bad and cant get worse at all so there is nothing that doesnt let me try the heli a bit

dake was good in bfbc2, but now its time for ivan yaaaaaaa

no i still kinda suck at jets and dont even bother with helis lol, i finally got my flares and heat seekers, but i need a few tips on how to get better with jets, its seemed this weekend whenever i did play that i was either the mvp or in last because ive been flying the whole time. the last game i played i swear i was getting camped because every time i got in a jet i was getting lock ons right away, and spent like 5 minutes trying to get away, and then maybe if i was lucky i'd get a vehicle disabled for another plane or heli, but i barely ever got a kill, and most of my deaths are from commiting suicide after i jump out so i can get the next plane xD

what we can do is i can drop off in our jet and steal theirs or drop off in a heli and steal theirs so we can dominate the sky and you can learn like that

I dont want total domination lol, I can fly and can get kills, I guess I need to get used to the jets more, I just need some tips to get better faster, you said you went 20-0 in a jet right? what I wrote above was oonly 1 time, the other games I was doing not too bad but those were before I got missiles

Not too bad survival wise lol but I guess I wasn't used enough to using the guns on the jet, but I couldn't see shit oon the ground so I didn't even bother for tank

Anyway I spent another 2 hours playing in jets and helis only, and I'm starting to get the hang of it a bit. I'd say I was ddoing good in jets especially once when I started midway through a game and another jet was camping over our strip, and almost killed me at takeoff, but then after a couple of minutes of maneuvering I caused him to crash, and after got his partner, it felt pretty damn good! I went 6-0 in that game. Alsoo spent a bit of time in helis and got a few kills, and now know I won't crash every time I get in one now time to get back to the ground and pad up my k/d

jets = a bit better, but dunno where I fly to or how to fly, like you say lock on and boom bye bye foxie

it is all about practice especially with those air vehicles think coming we could be a good tiem for me to start serious practice... u can dominate everybody wit heli so easy when u hav a good control at least that was fact in bfbc2 dunno about bf3 yet

For helis I prefer the legacy controls I think it is, where the right stick its like on foot you look up down left n right, and the left stick tilts your heli left n right.

For jets what I do is as soon as I take off I fly away from the battlefield and into the sky, then after turning around I have a good view of where everyone is, so I can fly on the back of another jet and take him down, or if no jets I try to go foor ground targets but haven't gotten a groound kill yet -_-, and I repeat this all game long

also i took rocket pods over the heat seekers, because i find that the missles arent very good, and with the gun its actually faster to take down other jets, and the rockets are good for ground and are like the guns but explode

also if i see a jet when im taking off i try to get on his ass as fast as i can because if i fly away he might see me and if you get someone on your back then you might as well jump out and try to get the next jet

i dont have any rockets with flying vehicles think thats the main reason why i loose all air-battles

you dont even need them, in a dogfight i usually use the gun, to keep yourself from getting locked on just move randomly change speeds, un and down thta kinda stuff, once you get flares, rockets arent even a problem

Basically if you're in a jet, the slow beeping means that someone's locking on to you, so move around as much as possible to make it harder, the long beep means they've locked on to you, and the fast beep means that they shot the missle so if you have flares use them. A jet can take 1 rocket and you'll be fine, so don't let them lock on again, but most of the time they shoot 2 rockets in 1 lock on so you're screwed without flares
