It's time to discuss DMS and BFBC2! I know plenty of us play MW2, but as the ignorant bastard I am I wont give a shit because I find lots more potential in BFBC2 as a teambased online FPS.

Seriously though If someone wants to moderate and take control over a MW2 subforum around here then let me know, ill gladly make one u NGRs. Although I can state it dead already in advance..just like this one

Dake u have played bfbc1 so u know what to expect
I like this more than mw2, and that’s enough for me.
I have no idea why mw2 sells like five times more than bfbc2. Every mw2 vs bfbc2 topic / youtube video big majority of the comments and opinions are towards bfbc2 and that it’s a better game.
But in the end, everything is up to u if u like it or not.

and patrick u r right i liked bfbc1 soo much really it was so damn fun when u knew how to use the vehicles and ur weapons... first thing i will do this time is trying to change the controls that they r nearly the same as my controls of tf2 this weekend we hav to play together a few times cause this weekend is free for me... no parties

Both MW2 and BFBC2 are great games in my opinion. Still I favorise the newcomer on the scene, because it simply has more to give & feels more complete as a modern combat FPS. I've tried spamming some of our members inboxes, with BFBC2 invite messages, sorry for that, it was like a compulsory disorder and I couldn't fight my back my urges.

I'm really having a hard time finding out something bad to say about BFBC2. I wanna take a more objective perspective to prove this game has its flaws/downsides also, and take a step back from the constant praise Notice this is my personal view over things, and i'm still new to how BFBC2 works to its maximum. Here's a few things I could mention;

- A player's unable to see his/her health himself/herself, u can only guess how much damage you've taken = the screen gets more blurry and somewhat bloody. This game has incredibly detailed audio so a key element is to listen how much it "whistles in the ears of your character" once you've taken some hits or splash damage. This however is hard to distinguish evening time with kids &"wife" sleeping and TV is turned to minimum. Other players are able to see your health (as a little health bar on top of player) and that's when teamwork and using a mic comes into play;"Hey dude, u over there, u gonna need some fixing up".

- Simultaneous deaths on Normal Mode, iow when u kill a guy and he kills u simultaneously. This has happened a few times to me, its not exactly annoying but slightly weird. I'm not sure if this is possible on Hardcore mode (Bullets do more damage = u die easier,+ lots of the aid icons on screen are disabled in this mode, including map)

- Recon class. DAMN ITS HARD TO KILL PEOPLE AS A NOOB SNIPER ON NORMAL MODE (unless u get headshots, but noobs only get lucky shots to the head ). Looking from a different perspective, mastering this class seems Godlike and causes huge dicks to grow on the enemy players heads, making them even easier targets.

- That's it for now... I'll return with more negative feedback once something pisses me off in this game.

So weed and MAG isnt an option? Sometimes I think I would need weed with bfbc to control my anger, it can get frustrating when nothing works. Anyway choose wisely

Simultaneous deaths are little bit annoying, but this happened more frequently in killzone and I think it isn’t that bad here. I guess it didn’t happen too often in mw?
What is annoying is over skilled helicopter pilots. It doesn’t need more than one rpg shot to get them down but it’s hard if it moves constantly. It’s somewhat weak against bullets too but you can’t shot it down by your self, you need others to participate, but by shooting in the air, u reveal again your position to the enemy. I don’t know how much it actually helps if you by a chance get a dart-tracer tagged to the heli, if it works well then the rest is just teamwork.

mag sucks for sure! bfbc2 is very cool we have to build up a squad 2 in the helicopter ( 1engineer and one medic) and the other two attack from the ground and everything is ok

Nice to see we're growing in numbers on the Battlefield.

Dake, where'd u go last nite? We actually started winning some games, after a few lousy rounds of Conquest.

Johnny did a great job as Engie considering it was his 2nd day playing the game, damn I was impressed by his progress so early in the game.

The game has lots of small details that are useful but hard to remember in tight spots. Remember to use the "select button" to point out enemies you are targeting, or when u need ammo or health. Also Johnny kept struggling with tanks, actually we all did on Atacama Desert, remember to fire the RPG missile in the back (does the most damage with C4 at least) or side of the tank (between the top and the catepillar tread aka ' Da Wheels'). I'm not exactly sure how much damage a straight shot to 'Da Wheels' causes, in other words; if it's more useful to just aim at those Wheels or slightly higher in the midsection of the tank.

How about Lead & Gold Austin? Wanna give us a "non-biased" review sometime soon? I'd gladly hear what u & those friends that purchased it think about it.
