Who are they? Where do they come from? What will happen to us?


Some of u might've noticed Maiske playing Fat Princess a couple of days in a week during daytime, usually wed and sat. In fact its my 4 year old son who's totally in love with Fat Princess. So far he has only played by himself offline, then one day last week I asked him if he wanted to compete against other people online ( I doubt he understood shit about what I was talking) but he thought it'd be a cool idea, especially after seeing the "new" DLC characters.

He played 3 rounds/maps of capture the princess in total. I followed him play and I couldnt believe my eyes, when he top scored the 2nd map and in 2 of the 3 maps he was the one who captured the princess from the enemy base and brought the princess back to the home castle. I mean I've never been able to do that myself, and seeing my 4 year-old kid outsmart the other team was hilarious. He knew exactly which outposts to capture in all the maps in order to get closer to the enemy castle and sneak into their base unnoticed. He even put up a fight in 1vs1 situations and came on top many times. Its surprising to see how kids in his age can learn so much and can make use of tactics, even if he cant keep the controller in both hands cuz its too big, so he's forced to support the pad keeping it on his knee.

the fact is us as gamers over think situations while the younger kids just go with it . they memorize tactics easier while for us it takes a bit longer and it also depends on the situation .. i have player fat princess online and most of the people take the same route while it is easy to flank in that game... than say cod or bf. but in a fps situation every game is different and we need to change every time we play. while fat princess is hard and i always lose ..its not on the same level as most fps

i think the games we play wont be the gametypes they will play later coz there will be so many new things and consoles and they will just laugh about the things we played... well i think ur kid got ur skill there juho^^ maybe not ur fp skilll but ur gaming skill overall

No horry no worry! Im nearly 30 years old too...no kids no arguing whos time to play ps3, father or sun Only thing that keeps me awake at nights is bf3 or movies, no crying... ok, maybe crying but just coz i die too much in bf3 and i cry.

we have conform to this situation and keep us in good shape with next generation gamers. And i think we manage very well if u think how different backrounds we have.

We have to remember that next generation gamers r so different than us. They dont go outside at early morning and play with friends football or any sports to late night. They stay inside and play computer or ps3 or something at early morning to late night and they will be better than us what comes about playing consoles or computer thats the fact! They grow with these machines.

But i think it so sad i wouldnt like to chance that thing in my youth. Allways outside sports was more interesting than gaming inside, things r different no.

And what comes about kids....maybe later..dont know..

well really spots and playin wit friends outside was so great during my childhood... and even now i cant just sit at home the whole time and game i need the things i had in my childhood to be happy aka sports and friends... and now there r girls that i hated when i was like 5 years old soo many things to do and the next generation will miss all those things world i gettin more and more fucked up for sure!
