meh that sucks bigtime
I remember with my old ps2 I had the same thing
they could fix it but it costed around 80 euros and ya had to miss him for like a month or 2
they just send it up to playstation and ya get another one in return
cause they just repair them all like they come in but don't care to check where it came from
guess they just trew it on the pile and started repairing them and just send them back to whoever that had one broken
of course back then 80 euro for a repair was a lot of money cause for 130 euros ya had a brand new one

Same thing happened to my PS2 but that didn’t bother me so much afterwards because I got the ps2 slim version which was so cool
There should be a ps3 price drop anytime soon, though that has been the rumor for the past 1 year or so, but I feel it’s finally coming

The usual PLaystation breakdown, fuck every PS i've had so far dies at some point. I feel for u, its only a matter of time before my PS3 laser dies, try & screw Sony with a big white lie or sumtin, get yourself a new one somehow.

phoned sony today + told them what was wrong
they agreed to replace the ps3, gettin a brand new one tomorow even though its out of warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me and muggy wuggy fuggy duggy ruggy loves sony phony pony wony blow me bitch hahaa

Did you have the 60 gt version? If yes then it's even more great coz you will get the newer version of the ps3 which is more silent  though it has less usb ports Congratz anyways ! |

The exact same thing happened to my 60gb PS3 , sent it and waited for like 1 month and they said they can't help it - I had a warranty for the 60gb one , since they didn't make that model anymore they just said that I could have a 40gb instead (And lost c. 150e) and that If I want a 60gb model, there's no telling how long you have to wait. So simply choose the 40gb or nothing... Heard nothing from Sony until I called a "consumer-attorney"(I have no Idea what it is in english, sorry..) and they said since it had taken so long I could get a money refund. So I called up Sony with that and they immediately offered me a 40gb version and 2 free games , from their own list of course - those games that were released in the beginning /w bundles and costed like 15-20e in shops so I simply said no, I want a money refund as i was eligibled for that. Eventually I got the same sum back that I paid for it , went to the store and bought a 40gb one and saved money. Might sound a bit bitchy but I wasn't that happy with how Sony treated it's customers. Anyways, good news and hopefully that one works better!  |

arrr niceguy that sucks! they've been really good with me, ps3 has turned up, havent tried it yet but muggins phoned me saying its fine. and nemez its the 40gig one not 60 unfortunately  cant wait for teh match dake  btw has anyone seen this before?  |
