I assume the game engine on EAs MMA game will be close or similar to Fight Night 4, which will make the fighters look really smooth. I still have UFC 09 and enjoy playing it every once and a while. I give my credit to EA for supporting another MMA federation than the "all mighty Whitey UFC", giving Strikeforce well earned recognition and further opening up the scene for MMA fans who aren't familiar with the highly skilled mixed martial artists of SF.

In my opinion Strikeforce has organized more satisfying fightcards and events than the UFC has during the past year, giving fans more of the good stuff & not throwing semi-boring events one after another like UFC has. UFC has been ravaged by injuries = substitutes = more injuries = more substitutes = unpredictable fightcards = high percentage the event will not live up to its hype & includes miss-matched or boring fights). It's not all as black & white as it may sound, some great fighters in the UFC make great fights happen. UFC president Dana White's attitude and anti-supportive campaign towards the global welfare and evolving of MMA disgusts many of the MMA fans. Rather than giving his acceptance to Strikeforce he proclaims a business war, publicly underestimating Strikeforce as a MMA federation ("not a threat to the UFC") and then trying to eliminate Strikeforce out of the scene which doesn't evolve the sport and is totally controversial to the things he has publicly announced. Somewhat two faced and ridiculous in my opinion.

Back to the game. UFC 2010 will prolly look the same as its predecessor in many gameplay and graphical aspects. Still I'm looking forwards to it, no doubt as their is a bunch of great fighters in that game as well as in EAs Strikeforce. If I'm bound to chose between either version (can't afford both iow), then the game which includes distinctive styles for each fighter will easily win my money. The biggest issue with UFC '09 was the lack of individual styles for fighters, which made the fighters seem a bit lifeless and mechanic at times. Adding distinctive movement and gestures will certainly make a huge difference, which I hope UFC2010 will include.

I had UFC undisputed but sold it to friend. I just don't like fightgames. But Maiske has awaken my intrest by always bringing this Fedor Emelianenko dude up, never liked UFC, MMA, K1 or else. I like boxing more. But I watched this Fedor guy matches (those you can find from youtube) and now I am waiting when Fedor and Brock matches against others. So hoping that Fedor wins.=P But still wont buy this MMA Strikeforce.
