Marvel vs Capcom 3

If Capcom decides to push towards 3D with 2D gameplay + seriously enhanced graphics á la SF4 style this game will be Orgasmic. In any way, I hope this game's gonna live up to the hype around it. I really wanna see a game that looks astonishing with a silky smooth & addictive gameplay.

It's finally out in stores, been for a week already! My copy is coming my way tomorrow. Can't wait to smash Ryu with THE HULK or make pizza slices of Dante with Wolverines claws. Someone else should get this game also, I've heard only good about the multiplayer so far!!

Yess those good old days! I had Marvel Super Heroes for the ps1 & Marvel vs Capcom for the ps2. Spent lots of time playing those, alongside Tekkens

you're right, Marvel Super Heroes was the game we played alot. marvel vs capcom 2 is a store/live game i believe. m vs c 3 got 8.5 from gamespot, sounds promising

I need to correct myself even if nobody cares, Marvel vs Capcom was a ps1 game, I had Marvel vs SNK 2 (this game rocked) for the ps3, and yes MvC 2 is for the ps3 found in the store.

looks great indeed, but I got some questions , isn't it a lil like street fighter 4 ? I mean, once I unlocked everyone it got bored...

+ it kinda looks very chaotic, dunno if this is only the idea, or if it really is

Its got that 2D gameplay feel to it. It's definitely closer to SF4 than say Tekkens. Still its got a unique feeling to it. The controls are made more easy to grasp and performing special techniques is easier than in SF4 for example. It's a fast phased game, even though slower than MvC or MvC2.
The reason it looks a bit chaotic and scary is because of the gameplay mechanism, u need to toggle between 3 team mates and combine attacks (not that easy on normal mode). Having a team of 3 forces u to use different characters in different situations. Some are long range attackers and others close combat ninjas, some are combinations of these two, so its vital to use your teams strenghts against your opponents, IOW a long range dude like Dormammu gets in serious trouble if ChunLii manages to get too close. Switching character and position according to these situations makes the game interesting and constantly evolving.
